Ebisu is the transit point between the JR Yamanote line and the Hibiya subway line. The area offers a good array of eating and drinking establishments, including the Ebisu Garden Plaza - a pleasant, slightly Kremlin looking complex with a variety of shops and restaurants. The free lift to the top of the Garden Place Tower offers one of the better scenic views of Tokyo. The Daikanyama neighborhood is just a short stroll away.
