THE IMPERIAL PALACE
Ginza is one of the top luxury shopping areas of Tokyo and it has an abundance of places to eat. There are high class Japanese restaurants as well as typical fast food places to fit any price range. Most department stores have restaurants on their upper floors.
West about a 10 minute walk from Ginza are the Imperial Palace grounds, where the Japanese Imperial Family lives. After a lawn of bonzai trees there is the moat and the outer walls. The inner grounds are closed to the public, but its possible to take photos at the main entry gate.
