TOP THINGS TO DO IN HIROO and Tourist AttractionsHiroo is a residential neighborhood, especially popular with expats, and home to several international schools. Among the local embassies are: The German Embassy, the Swiss Embassy, the Norway Embassy and the China Embassy. Hiroo is not really a tourist area, but there are some things to check out if in the area.
This unexpectedly spacious park is just a minute from Hiroo station, featuring a small lake, sculptured gardens and the Tokyo Metropolitan Library. There are benches and a play area too.

Hiroo's main shopping street is brick layed and infused with a small village feel. There are a good number of restaurants and cafes, as well as a few eclectic shops.

This little temple is one of the oldest in Tokyo. There is monument to Townsend Harris as well as a 750 year old ginko tree. It's a 15 minute walk, past National Azabu and the German Embassy. Address: Motoazabu 1-6-21

A 15 minute walk along Gaien-nishi Dori and past the Nishi-Azabu main intersection will take one to the beginnings of Aoyama Cemetary, the oldest public cemetary in Tokyo, first set up in 1872.
