Nakameguro is a pleasant trendy neighborhood of shops and restaurants that has the Meguro River passing through one side. It's a great place to spend an afternoon and to grab a bite. There are a fair number of bars and izakayas too. While Nakameguro is not a tourist spot, there are some interesting things to do when in the area.
The Meguro river is more a canal than a river and runs along the east side of Nakameguro. Quirky shops, nice cafes and cherry trees line the river. There is little traffic, so it is nice area to check out.
