Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Mid-Town both are enormous office complexes and offer shopping and dining plazas as well as parks, a movie theater and an observatory. Here are some things to check out when visiting the Roppongi area.

This huge office complex is 54 stories high and has shops, restaurants, the Park Hyatt hotel, a nine screen movie theater and a small park around its base. Go up to the top for a spectacular outdoor view!

Tokyo Mid-Town has lots of good shops and eateries in its very upscale two floor underground mall. There is also a large park at the back of the area, with a Japanese tea house and a pond.

A short walk toward Nogizaka station, opposite Tokyo Mid-Town will bring one to Tokyo's newest art museum. Regular exhibitions. Open 10am to 6pm.
ROPPONGI HILLS MAP A-1
This 333 meter high tower is the world's tallest free standing iron structure (taller then the Eifel tower by several meters!). It's about a 15 minute walk from Roppongi station.
ROPPONGI HILLS MAP C-2
A quaint village style area of brick streets and small shops, the Azabu Juban neighborhood is a nice change from bustling Roppongi Hills. It's about a 15 minute walk from Roppongi Hills.

The Asahi Television building has a showroom and tourist shop with goods for sale. You can watch vintage Japanese television programs and see life size displays of some Japanese TV stars.
