Meguro is a friendly, upscale neighborhood, where many expats reside. Most shops and restaurants are patronized by locals, so there is more of a neighborhood vibe. An area of furniture shops has sprung up along Meguro-dori, a 15 minute walk West from the station, past the Yamate-dori Ave intersection.
